LAïLA

This family-run resort redefines Seychellois luxury as an appreciation of what is close at hand — nature, people, and shared experience. Named after the Seselwa phrase ‘here it is’, the brand is expressed through a soft logotype, reef-inspired details, and photography that portrays the islands with warmth and authenticity.

Identity Development

A softly curved logotype and cartographic details – coordinate lines, crosses, and moon phases – root the identity in the Seychelles’ history of discovery. Across applications, language becomes another design layer, with Latin titles evoking the language of natural science and classification, while French and Seychellois names reflect the islands’ cultural heritage.

Local traditions and natural rhythms complete the brand experience: a blue bottle of orange essence, the everyday cure-all carried by Seychellois women, and a moon phases calendar that echoes the nightly moonrise over Anse Royale beach.

Brand Concept Activation

The brand concept of Laïla is captured in the phrase explorer spirit, paradise pace. Guests are encouraged to discover the Seychelles through design touchpoints that spark curiosity: small brochures for tailored tours, maps, and cards placed around the hotel highlighting local history, natural wonders, and customs. These applications transform the idea of exploration into lived experience.

Explorer spirit, paradise pace

A philosophy of slowing down, of letting the islands set the rhythm, and of finding joy in discovery both great and small.

Natural Paradise

Paradise here is not a fantasy, but something real and tangible. White sand beaches, crystalline waters, and lush inland jungle create a place that feels almost untouched. The rhythm of nature sets the pace, offering space to breathe and reconnect.

At Laïla, true luxury lies in this simplicity – where time slows and everything you need is already here.

Diverse Harmony

The Seychelles is a tapestry woven from many cultures, languages, and traditions. Creole cuisine, dances, and crafts sit alongside cinnamon, vanilla, and other riches of the islands.

At Laïla, this harmony is celebrated in every detail – a place where diversity feels effortless, warm, and welcoming.

Endless Exploration

The islands have always called to explorers, from early seafarers to today’s wanderers. That spirit lives on at Laïla.

Each day brings the chance to follow a new path – to discover rare flora and fauna, meet local artisans, or simply let curiosity guide the way. Exploration is never forced, only invited, with surprises waiting around each corner.

Island Spirit

Life on the island is unhurried and open, free from the high walls of other resorts. It is shared meals, evenings on the beach, and the laughter of friends and strangers alike.

At Laïla, this spirit is everywhere – in the easy hospitality, in the freedom to live as you wish, and in the joy of feeling part of a community that has always known how to savour life.

At its heart, Laïla promises a true Seychellois experience:
to live like nature intended, to rediscover the pleasures of curiosity,
and to embrace the freedom of island life.

Every stay is an invitation to connect

With the land, with people, and with yourself.

Visual Element

Reef outlines are central to Laïla’s identity. Used as framing devices and window-like shapes, they soften the brand’s visual language while evoking the geography of the Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands. Applied across print and digital contexts, they add coherence and a sense of discovery.
